My husband and I were using an old desktop computer with a tower and Windows 7. We knew we were working in the dark ages, but we were too afraid to make a change for fear of not knowing what to replace it with and how to set it up without losing our files, passwords, and other important data. We were also in the market for a Smart TV but, again, lack of knowledge stopped us from making a change. A friend recommended the services of Ashley, and there was no looking back as she took my husband and me into the world of “modern technology.” She came to our house and was able to confirm that our old computer would need to be replaced.  After assessing our specific needs, she went online and showed us several desktop computers and Smart TVs that she recommended. That was the first major stress reliever. We purchased the recommended items and notified Ashley that we were ready for the next step of our adventure. She returned to our house and, within a short time, transferred all of our data from the old computer to the new one and had the new computer up and going. That was our second stress reliever. She then set up our Smart TV by activating streaming services we had previously purchased and showed us how to use the remote to navigate through all the TV options. The third and final stress reliever accomplished. Needless to say, we are so thankful for Ashley’s help. In addition to her expertise, her friendliness and efficiency made the whole process painless. Her services are highly recommended!

We contacted Ashley because our computers continually reminded us that Windows 8 would no longer be supported after December 2022. We weren’t sure if we needed new computers or if we could update the current operating systems.  We were also concerned about needing to back up the data and restoring. Ashley assessed our current computers to be robust enough to handle an update.  She could update both of our computers to Windows 10 without losing any data or functionality. The printers were reinstalled, and she made sure everything was working correctly.  She got the updates started and were able to leave and come back a couple of hours later to finish. Everything was done in one day in less than 2 hours of her time. Since our lives revolve around this technology, it was certainly worth it to have a knowledgeable person save us time, aggravation, and the possibility of doing it wrong. 

I have worked with Ashley for one year, starting when I transitioned from my career into retirement. Ashley helped me set up a home office and assisted me in navigating all of the various options as I was selecting a new laptop, printer, and associated technology for my home office. I needed someone who could guide me and provide support along the way, from the complex to the mundane. She is easy to work with, accessible, knowledgeable, and never makes me feel that my questions are too basic. She gives me help by text, email, and phone on easier issues and comes to our house when I have more detailed matters.
